Bronx Community Health Network, Inc. (BCHN) is a not-for-profit organization and Federally Funded Health Center that sponsors 18 community and school-based health centers in the Bronx.
BCHN health centers offer high-quality medical care and related health services for free or at low cost for the entire family, at all stages of life.
Walking is one way to lower your risk of heart disease, and it's also a great way to get active. As part of its #GoHealthy campaign, BCHN created walking paths for the Fordham area to inform local residents about readily available areas in local parks and open spaces.
On March 6, Bronx Community Health Network (BCHN) joined the Community Health Care Association of NYS (CHCANYS) and 900 community health care supporters in Albany to let lawmakers and the Cuomo administration that New York's health care safety net is at risk. It was the largest turnout in the event's history.
