Alicia Tenny

As a strategic financial leader with twenty years’ experience in the FQHC and Nonprofit world, Alicia Tenny has a passion for driving financially successful healthcare and community-based organizations.

She began her professional career as a social worker with a drive to make a difference in the lives of others, but she also realized her talents in accounting and finance. After completing a social work degree, she went back to school for a degree in accounting and eventually earned her Master of Business Administration.

She has spent the last twenty years leading healthcare organizations with budgets ranging from $10M to over $100M in size. She has worked on a variety of capital development projects resulting in the expansion of services throughout the healthcare industry. Her work with organizations to improve revenue cycle processes has increased revenue by 20%. Additionally, she has been a fiscal reviewer and team lead for HRSA doing operational site visits at health centers throughout the United States since 2016.
