Putting the community in our model of care.
Care is our job. Effective January 1, 2022, the No Surprises Act, which Congress passed as part of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2021, is designed to protect patients from surprise bills for emergency services at out-of-network facilities or for out-of-network providers at in-network facilities, holding them liable only for in-network cost-sharing amounts. The No Surprises Act also enables uninsured patients to receive a good faith estimate of the cost of care.
Sliding Fee Discount Program
We will meet you halfway. Bronx Community Health Network offers a Sliding Fee Discount Program to ensure that everyone—whether uninsured, underinsured, or insured—can access affordable care. This program provides free or discounted services based on a patient’s ability to pay, with eligibility determined using the Federal Poverty Guidelines. We are committed to serving all individuals and families without discrimination based on age, gender, race, sexual orientation, religion, disability, or national origin.
